The slice of pain ripped me from my memories. I was spinning, dizzy from his strike.
Snatched back to the hot, delicious now.
If he wasn’t holding me steady with the other hand, I would have tumbled right from his lap into a heap on the floor.
“I’m not sure where your mind just took you, little sub, but when we are in this space, the only thing you should be focusing on is the sound of my voice-”
I hitched a breath as the hand that held me steady tightened, sending sparks of intensity over my body. “And the feel of my hand as I remind you who I am.”
