Jingle Book Blog Hop and Giveaway

First off, I want to say thanks for swinging by my page! Really excited about chatting with you all and sharing a bit of my Christmas quirks with you guys. :)

I'll dive right in.

Chocolate cake.

That's right -- gooey, moist, melt in your mouth chocolate cake. And not a conservative, this-is-our-first-date-so-give-me-a-itty-bitty-slice...I'm talking about a huge, calories be damned piece of cake.

Every Christmas, my mom cooks a handful of cakes for our Christmas feast...and a very special chocolate cake. As soon as it's bright enough outside to be considered morning, said chocolate cake is sliced, a big cup of milk or eggnog is poured, and we cozy up on the couch. That's one of our Christmas traditions...and definitely my favorite: breakfast for dessert on Christmas while we watch the twinkling lights on the tree.

How about you? What's your favorite Christmas tradition?

"Do you surrender?" I repeated, dropping my cuff links in the jewelry tray near the door. "Will you trust me with your body? With your submission?"

Sophia Slater is dying for her big break. An expose on Hush, an elite, invitation-only BDSM club that boasts a member's list full of the rich and famous, is her way in…she just has to pretend she's a submissive.

When she snags a job at the club as a hostess, she begins plotting the story that will put her name on the map. But her lie lands her at sexy Dominant Desmond O'Connell's feet, and Sophia is thrust into his dark, dangerous world…

Red (The Safeword Series: Book One) is the first book in a three part series.

Will it hurt?"

The leather strips of the flogger danced across my skin. There had to be something seriously wrong with me because I wanted him to say yes.

I wanted to say green, more, and we hadn't even begun.

"Sin," he breathed into my ear, "I made you a promise...and I'm a man of my word." His voice darkened. "I'm gonna make you scream."

Sophia Slater is in the perfect position to write the story that will jumpstart her career. She's a new hire at Hush, a BDSM club where the rich and famous can live out their wildest fantasies. Her plan to infiltrate Hush went off without a hitch--until she spends a night with the man in the black mask.

Desmond O'Connell is still reeling from the loss that inspired him to create Hush in the first place. Attachments are dangerous, and falling for a submissive? Insane. The crazy thing is, he can't help but fall for the one submissive who wants more. Who wants all of him...

Yellow (The Safeword Series: Book Two) is the second book in a three part series.

Purchase: | Amazon | B&N | iTunes | Kobo |

Sophia Slater has been handed the story of her career--Desmond O'Connell, the billionaire star of 'America's Chef', is the owner of the elite BDSM club Hush. The trouble is, she could care less. But when she reveals her true identity, Desmond wants nothing to do with her.

Desmond O'Connell can't believe that the first woman he trusts with the whole truth has been lying to him all along. She insists that her feelings for him are real, but how can he trust anything she says when it's reveled that she works for the most vicious tabloid in town?

Green is the riveting conclusion of the Safeword Series.

It is always my favorite because it is just time spent together with no rushing around or formality. Merry Christmas and Thanks for the chance to win! caseroo7 (at) gmail (dot) com

  6. I have kept my mother's Christmas tradition. Every year we would get brand new pajamas on Christmas eve, bake holiday cookies and then after they were made, we would eat them with some hot cocoa and watch holiday movies together. I now do this with my children and we all look forward to it every year.

On Christmas morning I make hot spiced apple cider along with homemade cinnamon rolls. And we munch on these after we open presents.

Dinner is holiday ham with all the trimmings. I usually have everything made up around 5pm. I prefer to make this "buffet" style because after all of this I am usually pooped.
I hope once my kids are grown, one of them will carry on the tradition and give me a break. Unfortunately, they are both boys... so here's hoping for some amazing daughter in laws who know how to cook! Lol. the only one who seems to be interested in helping mommy in the kitchen so far, without being bribed, is my three year old.

  23. One of my favorite Christmas traditions is baking Snickerdoodle cookies with my mom. These cookies were my great grandma's favorite. Unfortunately, she passed away two years ago, but we still love to bake these cookies and talk about fond memories of her.

On a different subject, I read what the Safeword series is supposed to be about. I am curious what happens to Sophia Slater after Desmond O'Connell finds out her true identity. I guess I will have to read the books soon to see what happens. Thanks for being a host in the Blog Hop and offering this giveaway. Have a great week and a wonderful holiday. =)
